Welcome! I’m Jen and I am so happy you stopped by!
A bit about me...I have a double major in accounting (that means ALL ACCOUNTING) and took as many art classes as possible to fill out my degree. My art teacher called me the painting accountant. That love of the creative never left! Fast forward to 2013, while working as a regular crew member with Trader Joe's, I asked how someone got to be in the art room...did you know that ALL Trader Joe’s signage is handmade in each store? They tested me, I passed and began a seven-year learning adventure. I got paid to practice and create and try new things, including some 3D pieces and a very small bit of sculpting. I ADORE clean lines, with some sassy bounce, that are very READ-ABLE! I have continued to expand my skills to include markers, pointed pen calligraphy, chalks, and engraving. I teach classes, do signage for events and create printables and custom pieces.
When I’m not playing with my pens,
I pretend to wrangle 4 really fantastic "teens" ages 22, 21, 18, & 17 and am wildly blessed by my husband EVERY single day. Our family has always homeschooled, and I got to teach writing classes to 6-9th graders for 8 years in a co-op setting (because words are very important). Camp director?! Yep, one week each summer for several years. I’m super curious about people, because your story fascinates me! I also LOVE audiobooks, decluttering, challenge solving, and HINT water (no bubbles, please). My favorite colors are orange, magenta, and light aqua. Wanna have some fun together?!
